Exhibition in the heart of Vienna right next to Stephansplatz
Eva Kaiser, an Austrian representative of abstract expressionism with Centre of life in Salzburg. Her works reflect a passionate exploration of colour, emotion and movement.
After early training at the Salzburg School of Arts and Crafts and working as a designer and commercial artist, she has devoted herself exclusively to painting for many years.
In her artistic work, Eva Kaiser combines expressive gestures with deep emotionality. Her visual language is characterised by an intensive exploration of materials such as oil, acrylic and mixed media, which she uses intuitively to make inner states visible.
Her time studying with Jacobo Borges (2002), during which she deepened her figurative forms of expression, was particularly formative, as was her admission to Hermann Nitsch's class (2003 - 05). The actionist approach and radical experimentation with colour and form that she experienced there became a stylistic turning point in her artistic development.
Eva Kaiser's works have been shown in numerous international exhibitions, including in Vienna, Innsbruck, Linz, New York, Miami, Beijing, Singapore, Rome, Florence, Biarritz, Zurich, Berlin, Hamburg and Skopje. Her painting remains an open process - raw, intuitive and at the same time characterised by compositional clarity.
